Troops coming home-10

About 30 members of the 145th Airlift Wing, North Carolina Air National Guard, will return home from participation in Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan, Friday March 23. Members returning home are scheduled to arrive on the NC Air National Guard ramp. Over 100 members of the 145th Airlift Wing were activated in early November to provide airlift support for the War on Terrorism. Three C-130 Hercules were sent to the region to fly troops and supplies into the Afghanistan area. Families will welcome home members who have been deployed for up to 120 days in support of the operation. The group returning is the final part of this aviation package.
