Ballance men at Thirty - Jim Ballance in 1978 - Chris Ballance in 2012

I recently found the photo on the right at my Mom's house and thought it might be cool to try to recreate since my Dad was the same age in the photo as I am currently. Both of these were taken on my Grandparent's couch, 34 years apart. The one on the left is me and was taken a few days ago in 2012. The second is of my Dad, Jim Ballance and was taken in 1978. Not sure of the exact film for the photo of my Dad, but the one of me is FP-3000B taken with a Polaroid Land 335. Somehow I just happened to be wearing a similar shirt that day. However, he had cooler hair.
